Monarch Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a lovely community primary school in Nailsea, part of a large and well-respected multi-academy trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community on a part-time basis from September.

The Role

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across the school. You will assist pupils both individually and in small groups, helping to create an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment where all children can thrive.

This varied role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about making a positive impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
\n
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
\n
• Assisting pupils with classwork and learning activities
\n
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
\n
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
\n
• Preparing and organising classroom resources
\n
• Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
\n
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
