Step into a progressive small-animal practice in Reston, VA as an Associate Veterinarian with compensation up to $150,000. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality medicine alongside a collaborative team in a supportive, growth-focused environment.\n

The Hospital\n
\nThis AAHA-accredited clinic is built around relationship-centered, low-stress care, incorporating Fear Free principles to help patients and clients feel at ease. The medical team is supported by credentialed veterinary technicians, experienced veterinary assistants, and dedicated client service and management staff, enabling doctors to focus on medicine. On-site capabilities include an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, dental radiography, a fully equipped surgical suite, an in-house pharmacy, and therapeutic laser. The practice maintains established referral pathways for advanced and emergency cases, and it is recognized locally and nationally for quality care. Community engagement is a point of pride, including partnerships with local rescues and support for working K9 teams.\n

The Role\n
\n- Provide comprehensive small-animal preventive and internal medicine, from wellness care to chronic disease management\n
\n- Utilize on-site diagnostics and digital imaging to drive efficient, evidence-based decisions\n
\n- Perform routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, supported by a modern surgical suite and dental radiography\n
\n- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, embracing a Fear Free, low-stress approach\n
\n- Collaborate with credentialed technicians and assistants to deliver efficient, high-quality care\n
\n- Co-manage complex cases through established referral and specialty partnerships\n
\n- Full-time schedule aligned with clinic hours (Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; Sat 8:00 am to 3:00 pm; closed Sundays)\n

Requirements\n
\n- DVM or VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution\n
\n- License to practice in Virginia (or ability to obtain promptly)\n
\n- Eligibility to work in the United States\n
\n- Strong clinical communication skills and a commitment to collaborative, high-standard care\n
\n- Comfort practicing within AAHA-level protocols and a Fear Free, low-stress philosophy\n
