The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop historical knowledge, critical thinking, analytical skills, and an appreciation of the past and its impact on the modern world.

The Role

As a Teacher of History, you will:

  Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  Inspire students through the study of British, European, and world history.

• \n

  Plan and deliver lessons that challenge, engage, and support learners of all abilities.

\n
• \n

  Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure strong outcomes.

\n
• \n

  Develop students' enquiry, source analysis, and critical thinking skills.

\n

  Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.

\n
• \n

  Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

  Support enrichment opportunities, including educational visits and extracurricular activities.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
