Additionally, they may handle reservations, manage seating arrangements, and address any guest concerns or special requests. *Contract : *Full Time & Part Time *Salary : 17.50 inclusive of Tronc* *Opening times : *10 : 00 - 20 : 00 Open 7 days a week *Start date : 16th September * Key Responsibilities : * Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm welcome and assisting with seating arrangements. * Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the venue's layout, table availability, and seating capacity. * Manage reservations, including recording bookings, updating availability, and confirming reservations as needed. * Monitor floor activity to anticipate guest needs and ensure a seamless experience. * Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction. * Train and supervise hosting and serving staff, providing guidance on service standards, etiquette, and guest interaction. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area, including the reception area, dining room, and restrooms. * Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the guest experience and maximizing revenue. * Uphold high standards of professionalism, hospitality, and guest service at all times. Qualifications * Previous experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale restaurants. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in reservation management software and basic computer skills. * Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, including wine service and menu presentation. * A professional demeanor and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
