Salary: £36,745 - £47,666 per annum (MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance) - Paid to scale depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

About the role
\n Monarch Education have partnered with a welcoming and inclusive SEN schools in Bristol seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis.

\n

The Role:

\n

This teaching role is for a class of 6 pupils with a mixture of autism, PDA, developmental trauma delay and SEMH behavioural needs. You'll be heavily supported by Higher Level Teaching Assistants and teaching assistants, so excellent communication skills and team work will be required. Full planning responsibilities are incorporated in to the role. The opportunity is full-time, long-term with the likely-hood you will secure your teaching role and going permanent at the school.

The school is a beautiful SEN school, based in Bristol. The school is a diverse, dynamic environment and inclusive of students with a variety of special educational needs, following an SEMH . The school aims to provide bespoke education to it's pupils with the intention of helping their students with their social and emotional needs, to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

  Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils

  Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

\n
• \n

  Use a variety of communication methods and learning approaches, including sensory and play-based strategies

\n
• \n

  Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to deliver personalised learning plans

\n
• \n

  Monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and the wider SEN team

\n
• \n

  Promote social and emotional development alongside academic achievement

\n

About you

\n

\n
• \n

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is essential

\n
• \n

  Experience working with pupils with SEND (either in a mainstream or specialist setting)

\n
• \n

  A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication and organisational skills

\n
• \n

  A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them reach their potential

\n
