Teaching Assistant – Full Time


Alcester (B49) | September 2026 Start
£90–£105 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work full time at a welcoming secondary school in Alcester (B49) from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with relevant school-based experience who is passionate about supporting students both academically and personally.

The Role:

  • Support students in the classroom, working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to help students achieve their learning goals.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with varying learning needs, helping them to build confidence and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar school-based support role (essential).
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Previous experience supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis- leading interventions to support with students learning.
  • Any prior experience working with children with special educational needs (desired but not essential).
  • A proactive, patient and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills- ability to follow the direction of the class teacher whilst also being able to show initiative and autonomy over your work.
  • Full-time availability from September 2026.
