People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Linwood.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, regular shifts and weekly pay within a busy parcel and logistics environment.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Warehouse Operative, Parcel Sorter, Picker Packer, Loader, Unloader, Distribution Operative or General Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Overtime may be available depending on site requirements

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Saturday
• Start times will vary between 01:00 and 05:00, depending on client requirements
• Candidates must be fully flexible across the Monday to Saturday shift pattern
• Ongoing work available
• Early morning/night-shift working

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative are:

• Loading and unloading parcels and freight
• Sorting parcels accurately for dispatch
• Moving goods safely throughout the warehouse
• Preparing parcels for delivery routes
• Carrying out manual handling duties
• Working quickly and accurately within a fast-paced environment
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area
• Following all site Health & Safety procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse team where required

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Previous warehouse, parcel sorting, loading, unloading or distribution experience is desirable
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
• Able to work within a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
• Good attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions and site procedures
• Fully flexible to work Monday to Saturday
• Able to start between 01:00 and 05:00 depending on shift requirements
• Candidates must be able to reliably travel to the Linwood site for early start times

Training:

Training provided for a Warehouse Operative:

• Full paid site induction
• On-the-job training
• Registration and compliance completed through People Solutions prior to starting
• Ongoing support from the People Solutions recruitment team
