Position Summary

Situated in the heart of Spinningfields Manchester our studio is home to more than seventy talented developers artists designers and creative thinkers. Together we build highimpact visually stunning and globally successful landbased gaming titles.

As a Software Engineer in our growing team youll collaborate with graphic artists mathematicians designers and fellow engineers to bring innovative game ideas to life. Youll help shape the gameplay features and player experiences that define our next generation of UK and international gaming products.

This role is wellsuited to individuals with a strong foundation in programming or mathematics whether youre early in your career or an experienced engineer looking for a fresh challenge. Youll produce high quality code contribute directly to top performing game titles and learn from a team of seasoned supportive engineers who are passionate about their craft. This role is ideal for curious minds who enjoy problemsolving iteration creative thinking and the thrill of seeing their work come to life on screen.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for delivering engaging game content as part of a crossfunctional development team.

• Develop robust maintainable software while following coding standards processes and release guidelines.

• Manage your own development schedule and deliver features in a timely and organised manner.

• Participate actively in code reviews both giving and receiving constructive feedback that strengthens the entire codebase.

• Contribute to the creation of marketleading gaming titles enjoyed by players around the world.

What You Bring

• Strong programming fundamentals and solid mathematical competence.

• Commercial experience developing games using the Unity engine.

• Professional experience with C#; experience with C is an advantage.

• A good understanding of statistical mathematics (desirable).

• A willingness to learn grow and be mentored by senior engineers.

Qualifications

• A degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science Mathematics or a similar technical discipline.

Please note that this role is based in our Manchester studio and you will be expected to attend the office at least 3 days a week.
