Client Name: Basildon University Hospital

Role: Operating Department Practitioner
\n
Rates: £17.38 - £19.48 per hour
\n
Shifts: Available Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
\n - To safely identify, prepare, check and assemble equipment required for the relevant operating list.
\n - Prepare and organise the clinical area to receive patients for elective, emergency, and trauma procedures.
\n - Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information using various methods to ensure effective understanding.
\n - Contribute to the continuing development of patient care within the operating theatres, e.g. through sharing knowledge and expertise as required.
\n - Demonstrate and develop clinical assessment skills and prioritise the care for patients undergoing a surgical / anaesthetic procedure.

Essential Qualifications:
\n
\n - Current HCPC registration
\n - At least 1 years' post-graduate experience.
\n - 6 months recent UK experience within the last 3 years
\n
