Why work with Walsingham Support..?

Walsingham Support is a national charity, not a business. We don't make money for shareholders everything we do is reinvested into supporting the people we care for and the staff who make it happen.

Since 1986, every Support Worker at Walsingham Support has played a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Our world is built on doing good, being the best place to work, and always putting people first.

We believe in an accessible and fair recruitment process...

That's why you'll receive interview questions in advance, so you feel confident and ready to shine.

If you're ready to join as a Support Worker with Walsingham and want a role that's rewarding, varied, and truly meaningful apply today.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Our first step once you have applied, is a brief values evaluation. It highlights the qualities that matter in our work and helps both of us see whether the role is a good fit.

About Church Lane:

Church Lane is a welcoming and supportive home in Rickmansworth, where you'll help six adults with learning disabilities live happy, fulfilling and independent lives.

Some of the people we support also have autism, dementia and complex health needs, making every day both varied and rewarding.

This is a role where you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

You'll provide personalised support with daily living, which may include assisting with medication, personal care, eating and drinking, moving and handling, and other aspects of maintaining health and wellbeing.

Full training will be provided for specialist support, including PEG care where required.

Life at Church Lane is about much more than providing care. It's about building positive relationships, encouraging people to make their own choices, develop new skills and enjoy meaningful activities both at home and in their local community.

We're looking for enthusiastic, compassionate people who are passionate about helping others achieve greater independence and enjoy the best possible quality of life.

No two days are ever the same. One day you might be supporting someone to enjoy their favourite hobby or community activity, and the next you'll be celebrating a personal achievement or helping someone overcome a new challenge.

Every shift brings the opportunity to make a positive impact.
