Teaching Assistant - ASD Unit | Tower Hamlets | September 2026 Location: Tower Hamlets (near Mile End) Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time | Long-term (with the opportunity to become permanent) Pay: £100-£120 per day (dependent on experience) Teaching Assistant - Specialist ASD Unit A highly regarded primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its specialist Autism provision from September 2026. This rewarding Teaching Assistant role will be based within the school's ASD Unit, supporting a small group of pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated communication and sensory needs. Class sizes are deliberately small, allowing staff to provide highly personalised support in a structured and nurturing environment. Working alongside a specialist teacher and experienced SEN team, the successful Teaching Assistant will help pupils develop their communication, independence, emotional regulation and readiness for learning, while also supporting integration into mainstream classes where appropriate.
