10-12 hour shifts working a 4/4 rota with extras available (subject to WTD regulations and availability)
Mon-Fri shifts = £150 per shift
Yearly Salary between £30000 - £42000
Sat-Sun (and Bank Holidays) = £165
New starters will begin on the current rate, but see an increase to £155 Mon-Fri; £170 (Sat,Sun & Bank Holiday) after probation.
Job Description
FORGE LOGISTICS LTD is a veteran-owned and operated company based in Euxton. We have a long-established relationship with the world's largest online retailer and are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team.
What Does The Job Involve?
· Mainly night shifts - subject to change on a weekly basis
· Pure driving - no handling of the load
· 4 on, 4 off rota (with extra days possible subject to your availability)
· Start times vary - your flexibility is required week-to-week
· All work scheduled via a special app
· Thorough vehicle checks
· Adherence to all driving and working time regulations
What Do We Offer?
· Mon-Fri, £150 per shift ; Sat-Sun (and Bank Holidays) , £165 per shift
· Full fleet of Iveco CNG trucks 71 and 72 plate
· Guaranteed pay for cancelled shifts
· Monthly pay (PAY)
· 3 month probation period
· Holiday pay and SSP
· On-going training
What Do I Need?
· ESSENTIAL: to have held a CE licence for at least 1 year
· ESSENTIAL: consistent Class 1 work since passing / most recently (min. 6 months)
· ESSENTIAL: experience of commercial night driving
· Professionalism: a sense of ownership & responsibility
· An adapt & overcome mentality
