\nThe agency is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team overseeing client accounts and directing work. As Account Manager, you will act as the primary contact guiding clients strategically, identifying growth opportunities and managing day-to-day activities. Success requires strategic thinking, excellent writing skills, and the ability to coach teammates. This is an opportunity to advance your career working with high-profile tech innovators.\n

Here’s what you’ll be doing: \n

\n
    \n
  • Manage client accounts day-to-day as the primary contact
    • \n
  • Provide strategic counsel to guide clients in achieving goals
    • \n
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing clients
    • \n
  • Direct teams in delivering high-quality work on time
    • \n
  • Write and edit communications materials (press releases, bylined articles, etc)
    • \n
  • Build media relationships and secure impactful coverage
    • \n
  • Formally manage junior staff including reviews, training and development
    • \n
  • Participate in new business efforts including proposals and pitches
    • \n
  • Represent the agency's capabilities and expertise confidently
    • \n

Here are the skills you’ll need:\n

  • 2-3 years' experience in B2B tech, corporate or financial PR
    • \n
  • Strategic thinking abilities
    • \n
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
    • \n
  • Strong client management experience
    • \n
  • Ability to coach teammates and develop staff
    • \n
  • Media relations experience and relationships
    • \n
  • Passion for the tech industry ecosystem
    • \n
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field
    • \n
