\n SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/ASSISTANT MANAGER - LEICESTER, LEICESTERSHIRE - JOB REF: JO23699
\n Accountancy Elite yet again have been instructed by a well established firm of chartered accountants in Leicester. Our client is recruiting a senior accountant into their team to take on an assistant manager role but with the long term view that they will take a role in the senior manager role in the medium term.
\n The successful candidate will ideally be nearly ACCA/ACA qualified or already qualified with 3-5 years good quality practice experience.
\n ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n ·Preparation of accounts from client records, for sole traders, partnerships, LLP's and limited companies.
\n ·Responsible for compiling statutory accounts and managing monthly accounts.
\n ·Preparation of management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns.
\n ·Support with Corporate and Personal Tax issues and dealing with HMRC.
\n ·Assisting with Audit assignments.
\n ·Providing support to clients and colleagues and forwarding the development of the practice.
\n CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
\n ·ACA / ACCA late stages of qualification or already qualified.
\n ·Experience of preparing accounts and related business tax computations
\n ·3-5 years practice experience.
\n ·Experience with Xero/Quickbooks/Sage software.
\n ·Strong analytical and problem solving skills
\n ·Proven verbal and written communication skills to clients and colleagues.
