We are currently recruiting for a full-time Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming nursery school in Perry Barr (B42). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner to support young learners during a crucial stage of their development within a nurturing and supportive environment.
Role Available:\nNursery Teacher (Full Time)
\n* Teaching a Nursery class within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
\n * Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
\n * Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development
\n * Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
\n * Monitoring and assessing pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
* Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:30pm (term time only)
\n * Based in Perry Barr (B42)
\n * September start until at least Christmas, with a strong possibility of extension
\n * Full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, and assessment
\n * Working closely with a supportive EYFS team and senior leadership staff
\n * Long-term opportunity within a welcoming nursery setting
We are seeking a committed, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Early Years education and supporting young children to achieve their full potential.
You will:\n* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
\n * Have recent experience teaching within EYFS (within the last 2 years, with references)
\n * Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities in line with the EYFS framework
\n * Have a strong understanding of child development and early learning goals
\n * Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
\n * Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
\n * Work effectively as part of a team
\n * Be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
\n * Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to B42
Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs - applicants must have prior teaching experience and hold full QTS.
