| As the ideal candidate, your ability to connect with people experiencing homelessness and care leavers will help them build trust, resilience, and a sense of possibility for their future. You’ll understand safeguarding, work proactively within our policies, and contribute to a strong, collaborative team environment. | ||||||||
| Our Team Leader roles are support‑based, focused on guidance, encouragement, and empowering clients to achieve their goals. The work can be challenging, but also truly rewarding - made even more so by the supportive, values‑driven team you’ll be part of. | ||||||||
| Team Leader Essentials: | ||||||||
| * | A genuine interest and concern for homelessness and related issues | |||||||
| * | Ability to positively contribute to and lead a team | |||||||
| * | Deal promptly and effectively with challenging situations/crises in a calm manner | |||||||
| * | Strong communication skills, clear verbal and written English | |||||||
| * | Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word | |||||||
| * | Confident with lone working | |||||||
| Team Leader Desirables: | ||||||||
| * | Experience of managing a caseload of clients | |||||||
| * | Experience in managing a housing management team | |||||||
| * | Experience in health annd safety, benefits, managing licence conditions and frameworks alongside client safety and behaviour management would be beneficial | |||||||
| * | Understanding of risk assessment and person-centred, outcomes-based delivery | |||||||
| * | Awareness of the support needs of people experiencing homelessness or those with complex needs | |||||||
| * | Knowledge of voluntary and statutory agencies, housing regulations and the benefits system | |||||||
