Receptionist (8-Hour Contract)
We are looking for a friendly, professional and flexible Receptionist to join our team at Sydney House Chelsea.
This role is ideal for someone seeking a part-time position with the opportunity to work additional hours. The contracted hours are 8 hours per week (one shift per week), however, there are regular opportunities to increase your hours by covering annual leave, sickness and other operational requirements. Candidates with greater flexibility and availability are likely to be offered more shifts as business needs require.
To ensure you receive the best possible start, your first two weeks of employment will consist of full-time training (40 hours per week). This comprehensive induction will give you the knowledge and confidence to work independently on reception.
There may also be opportunities to work additional hours within our Housekeeping and Restaurant teams for candidates who are interested in supporting other departments.

- Completing guest check-in and check-out efficiently.

- Can remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
- Is confident using computers and willing to learn new systems.
- Is flexible and available to work additional shifts when required.
- Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and is willing to support other departments when needed.
Previous hotel reception experience is desirable but not essential. We value attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn just as much as experience, and full training will be provided.
