Job description
Are you a passionate and inspiring English Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity from September? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our thriving secondary school in Scunthorpe on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to raising achievement, fostering a love of English, and enabling every student to reach their full potential.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students through engaging and creative teaching.
- Monitor, assess, and support student progress effectively.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking department.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Be committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for all learners.
- Have the ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
