Location: Wokingham, Berkshire Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time | Term Time Only Start Date: September About the Role We are looking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wokingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and helping them to achieve their full potential within a positive and engaging school environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the wider staff team to provide high-quality support both in and out of the classroom. You will help to deliver an engaging curriculum, encourage pupils' confidence and independence, and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum. Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and improve attainment. Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources and learning activities. Provide additional support for pupils with a range of learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Encourage positive behaviour and promote the school's behaviour and inclusion policies. Support the delivery of literacy, numeracy and phonics interventions where required.
