Long Term Teachers is on the hunt for an experienced teaching assistant or someone with a wealth of experience within child care to join our team and support pupils with their learning in a Secondary school in Ansford.
We need a confident TA to step into this role and ensure that students are supported in mainstream classrooms - whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant with a wealth of experience working in schools, or you have been a tutor or a career for children this is a great opportunity to grow your career in education.
In this role you will be supporting students in overcoming their Social, Emotional and Mental Health and SEN challenges. You will support students in lessons, helping them manage their emotions, and encourage them to stay on track with their learning. Your in class learning support will be an essential part of a student's academic journeys therefore consistency, care and dedication to helping young people should be your main priorities.
Your compassion, empathy and patience will be your biggest strengths within this role. Leaning into a soft and understanding yet confident approach will be necessary. We need somebody who is not fazed by a challenge. If you see opportunity where others see difficulty this is the role for you!
