We are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded primary school in Fulwood, Preston from September.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a reputable and supportive school, helping pupils thrive academically and socially while working closely with an experienced Key Stage 2 teaching team.
The successful candidate will:
- Have recent Key Stage 2 classroom experience, ideally within Year 4.
- Be confident supporting pupils across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Have a good understanding of the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) and experience supporting children in developing fluency and confidence with their times tables.
- Be confident delivering small group and one-to-one interventions.
- Be an excellent communicator who works effectively as part of a team.
- Be proactive, organised, and passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
The role includes:
- Supporting teaching and learning within a busy Year 4 classroom.
- Delivering targeted interventions in maths, English, and other curriculum areas.
- Supporting pupils in preparation for the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC).
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.
- Working collaboratively with the class teacher to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment.
