We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Stopper to join a growing passive fire protection team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position, although temporary candidates who are interested in progressing into a permanent role will also be considered. The Role: The successful candidate will carry out a range of passive fire protection works, including: Fire stopping penetrations Installation of linear gap seals Working in line with manufacturer specifications and tested details Carrying out fire stopping works in occupied buildings Working within service risers, ceiling voids, and on top of lift cars Completing fire stopping around lift doors and associated penetrations Projects vary in length, with some lasting just a few days and others running for several weeks, offering a varied and interesting workload. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience within passive fire protection Good knowledge of fire stopping systems and installation methods The ability to work to manufacturer specifications and tested details A strong understanding of health and safety on site The following qualifications would be advantageous but are not...
