We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher who is committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality Geography education across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will join a supportive department and play an important role in developing students’ understanding of the world around them through engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of Geography.
• Monitor, assess and support student progress to achieve strong academic outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Geography.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a successful department.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.
