Responsibilities
- Deliver holistic cancer support virtually via video, phone and messaging
- Provide patients and families with trusted clinical, emotional, and practical guidance
- Conduct consultations, reviews, and follow-ups - creating personalised support plans
- Prepare patients for treatments, debrief afterwards, and ensure confidence at every stage
- Share evidence-based information to empower informed decision-making
- Contribute to service innovation, continuous improvement, and patient engagement
Requirements
NMC registration (Band 6+ equivalent)3+ years' experience supporting cancer patientsCertificate in SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) administrationKnowledge of cancer pathways, treatment side-effects, and NICE guidelinesStrong communication skills and confidence with IT systemsA proactive, flexible approach and the ability to thrive in a virtual cancer care environmentExperience in palliative care, psychological support, or cancer screening programmes would be an advantage but is not essential.Package & Benefits
