Job description

The Role

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
  • Deliver engaging practical and theory lessons that inspire creativity and innovation
  • Develop students' design, manufacturing and problem-solving skills
  • Create a safe and inclusive workshop environment
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Work collaboratively within a successful DT department
  • Contribute to extracurricular projects, STEM initiatives and enrichment opportunities where appropriate

We're Looking For

  • Qualified Design & Technology Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
  • Specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering or Graphics are welcomed
  • ECTs looking for a supportive start to their teaching career
  • Strong classroom practitioners with excellent subject knowledge
  • Teachers who can inspire creativity, resilience and practical problem-solving
  • Educators who build positive relationships while maintaining high expectations
