SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire Salary: £80 - £110 per day (Dependent on Experience) Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term Start Date: September 2026 Application Closing Date: 21st August 2026 Supply Desk are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming specialist schools in Salisbury. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs, helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally within a nurturing and inclusive environment. Working alongside experienced teachers and specialist staff, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring they are fully engaged in learning and able to reach their individual potential. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about making a positive difference every day. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and other additional needs. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities. Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and social development.
