Sales Administrator
Leicester
Permanent
Up to £35,000 per annum
Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

We're recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a varied role where you'll play a key part in supporting the sales function, managing customer relationships, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Once fully trained, you'll have the flexibility to work from home for up to two days a week, with the potential for even greater flexibility in the future.

This Sales Administrator role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone. You'll be confident communicating with customers, building long-term relationships, and providing outstanding support throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator role:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
• Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administration and customer enquiries
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Managing customer accounts and ensuring records are kept up to date
• Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Resolving customer queries and dealing confidently with challenging situations
• Working closely with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service
• Providing proactive support to help drive sales and customer satisfaction

This Sales Administrator position would suit someone who enjoys speaking with people, has a positive outlook, and is motivated by delivering an excellent customer experience.

The ideal Sales Administrator will have:

• Previous experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Support, Customer Service or Account Management role
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A confident and resilient approach with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally
• A proactive attitude and strong sales mindset
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong IT skills and experience using CRM systems or Microsoft Office
• A positive personality with the confidence to build rapport with customers
