Graduate Teaching Assistant Immediate start Competitive rate of pay Full-time, long-term North London £80-100 per day A graduate teaching assistant is needed for an independent school in North London for neurodivergent children aged 11-14. As a graduate teaching assistant, you will be supporting students with MLD and moderate ASD who are working very closely to the national curriculum but require some extra support. This school is easily accessible from around London, with great transport links. Being a graduate teaching assistant at this school, you will become a part of a highly supportive team with exceptional senior leadership and fantastic resources. Graduate Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: Providing academic support, either one-on-one or in a small group. Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture and providing emotional support when needed. Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus and self-control. Assisting with lesson planning and delivery. Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students. Graduate Teaching Assistant Requirements: The right to work in the UK. A clear and up-to-date DBS.
