\nShifts: Monday - Friday
\nContract type: Temporary
\nWe are currently looking for catering assistants to work in schools in the Stoke-on-Trent.
\nThis is a great opportunity for an individual with previous experience in catering to work within school hours. This role does require a full Child Enhanced DBS (or you must be willing to undergo one - we can support with this process but a small cost to you)
\n\n\nGeneral assistant duties
\n\nEnsuring cleanliness of the kitchen at all times
\nAssisting with serving lunches
\nFollowing all health and safety procedures
\nKeeping surfaces clean and tidy
\nClearing tables
\nOperating tills
\nFood preparation
\n\nThe ideal candidate will:
\n\nBe able to work within a fast-paced environment
\nBe punctual
\nHave excellent communication skills
\nAble to multi-task
\nAble to work well both in a team and independently
\nPolite and friendly
\nAble to build good relationships
\nHave great customer service skills
\n\nTravelling:
\nIdeally you will have your own transport but there are bus routes in the area - please check your local services before applying.
\n\nMain requirements:
\nFood&Hygiene level 1 (we can process one for you for free)
\nEnhanced child DBS (if you don't have one we can support you with this)
\nPrevious catering experience
\nKnowledge of health and safety within a kitchen environment
