Embedded Software Engineer - Security Clearance - Cambridge
\n\nA growing spinout security technology company, based in Cambridge, is currently seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to assist with the development, modification, and enhancement of various security technologies.
\n\nYour focus will span across radio, satellite, communications, radar, sensors, and other complex technologies used in the defence, aerospace, telecommunications, and other cutting-edge sectors, where you will contribute to the development of new technologies.
\n\nYou will collaborate with a team of experts, including electronics design engineers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, physicists, and other specialists. You won't necessarily need prior experience in the specific sector, as this is trainable, but you should have substantial experience in developing embedded systems using C/C++ programming languages.
\n\nThis company provides bespoke products and services for clients, ensuring that your projects will always be unique, presenting their own set of problems and challenges to keep you engaged. In addition to client projects, you will be involved in developing new versions of existing technology and improving current versions, offering a diverse and engaging role that will keep you interested for the long term.
\n\nWhile experience in telecommunications, aerospace, scientific, radar, radio, or other complex technologies that involve communication between devices would be ideal, it is not essential. Your experience as an Embedded Software Engineer is more crucial than the specific sector.
\n\nCertain roles may require security clearance, typically necessitating a British passport with no criminal record or a history of residing in the UK and paying taxes for several years (also with no criminal record).
