\nThis established, around-the-clock emergency and specialty hospital is known for managing complex referrals and high-acuity cases in a supportive, team-based environment. Clinicians work closely with board-level specialists in surgery, internal medicine, neurology and ophthalmology, with strong cross-department collaboration. The site offers advanced diagnostics and ICU-level care, including:\n
\n- CT and MRI\n
\n- Digital radiography\n
\n- Ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures\n
\n- In-house laboratory services\n
\n- Continuous ECG/telemetry and direct blood pressure monitoring\n
\n- Mechanical ventilation and transfusion therapy\n

The Role\n
\n- Provide triage, stabilization and emergency care for small animal patients\n
\n- Manage ICU cases with advanced monitoring, ventilatory support and transfusion therapy as indicated\n
\n- Utilize on-site diagnostics, including radiography, ultrasound and advanced imaging when needed\n
\n- Collaborate with specialty services for complex case workups and perioperative support\n
\n- Perform and oversee common emergency procedures and anesthesia support for urgent cases\n
\n- Lead and direct credentialed technicians and support staff during shifts\n
\n- Communicate clearly with pet owners and maintain thorough medical records\n
\n- Relief-based scheduling with coverage needs that may include evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays\n

Requirements\n
\n- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution\n
\n- License to practice veterinary medicine in New Hampshire (or ability to obtain)\n
\n- Eligibility to work in the United States\n
\n- DEA registration (or eligibility)\n
\n- Emergency and critical care experience preferred; comfort with high-acuity cases and a fast-paced environment\n
\n- Strong teamwork, communication and client-service skills\n
\n- Availability for varied relief shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed\n
