We are excited to be recruiting for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stechford, Birmingham, supporting children within the school's dedicated resource base.

\n

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and nurturing team that is committed to ensuring every child receives the individual support they need to thrive. The school is passionate about creating a happy, safe, and stimulating environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their potential, develop resilience, and build confidence in their learning.

About the role:\n

  • \n
  • Supporting pupils both academically and socially to help them access learning successfully
  • \n
  • Working closely with teachers, SEND professionals, and the wider inclusion team
  • \n
  • Helping to create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment
  • \n
  • Opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of children with additional needs
  • \n

What we're looking for:\n

  • \n
  • Be able to build positive and trusting relationships with children
  • \n
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • \n
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience in your approach
  • \n
  • Work effectively alongside teachers, SENDCOs, therapists, and support staff
