Specialist HGV Driver
Base: Bardon WTS (with travel to other council locations when required)
Hours 12 hours shifts, working 0600-1800hrs, 4 on 4 off system
An temporary opportunity within the Contracts and Haulage Team at Leicestershire County Council has become available, we are currently looking to recruit a specialist HGV Driver (Ro-Ro) to join the team.
The role will be responsible fortransporting waste materials from Leicestershire County Councils Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS) to disposal locations, using hook loader heavy goods vehicles (HGVs).
The successful candidate will be required to complete all uplifts and other jobs on any given day, and to do so in the most efficient and effective manner.
The nature of the work will involve a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with the jobholder carrying out work outside of normal working hours, including bank holidays, weekends and out of hours working.
