Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and specialist primary school in the Portsmouth area. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Thursday: 9:00am – 4:30pm

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver engaging learning experiences.
Build positive relationships that help children feel safe, confident, and valued.
Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning needs.
Encourage independence, communication, and social development.
Help create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Caring, patient, and empathetic.
Positive, reliable, and eager to learn.
Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Able to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
Previous experience in education, care, or support work is welcomed but not essential—your attitude and commitment are what matter most.

Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or
Be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel before starting employment.
Competitive hourly pay of £14.25.
