\n JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT in STOKE-ON-TRENT, STAFFORDSHIRE - JOB REF: JO23702
\n Accountancy Elite are very pleased to be partnered with a highly regarded practice in Stoke-on-Trent. Due to their excellent reputation and networking activities they are now going through a period of expansion because of business growth and excellent client retention. The perfect candidate for this role would be a bright, ambitious, tech savvy, a very people orientated person. They would ideally have completed AAT and potentially be studying their first few ACCA/ACA exams, have a minimum of 1 years practice experience and be IT literate.
\n Key Roles and Responsibilities:
\n ·preparing the annual accounts of limited and non-limited company status clients
\n ·assisting with statutory audits
\n ·producing final draft accounts and tax computations for review
\n ·producing management accounts, cash flows and budgets
\n ·providing a full range of company secretarial services
\n ·organising your workload so you can prepare accounts and tax returns efficiently within time and budget constraints
\n ·checking-in clients records and notifying them of any deficiencies, whilst assisting the improvement of their bookkeeping systems
\n ·meeting with the client manager and agreeing the approach to accounts preparation for each client
\n ·assisting clients with their accounting software, including installation/training
\n ·attending training workshops.
\n Candidates Attributes:
\n ·Be newly AAT qualified and maybe studying the first few ACCA/ACA exams.
\n ·Minimum of 1 years practice experience.
\n ·Have experience of software packages such as Iris, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero etc would be highly advantageous.
\n Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 + Study Support dependant on experience and value added.
\n Pension: Auto enrollment.
\n Benefits: Benefits package including incentive scheme and discretionary bonus scheme.
\n Working hours: 9am-5:00pm (FLEXIBLE WORKING BETWEEN 8AM-6PM)
\n Holiday: 30 days including statutory bank holidays increasing with length of service.
\n Study Support: Full Study Support Package Offered.
