Trainee Recruitment Consultant – The role:
The aim of the game is ultimately to find candidates to fill in your clients’ vacancies. It is a fast-paced sales role. You will be:
· Sourcing candidates by headhunting, advertising, networking and database.
· Pre-screening candidates by phone, face-to-face or video call.
· Setting up interviews.
· Preparing candidates for interview.
· Getting interview feedback.
· Negotiating terms of contract.
· Closing deals.
· Handling any objections.
· Developing client relationships.
· Winning new clients (cold calling).
Trainee Recruitment Consultant – What our client is looking for:
· Someone who is really “salesy”.
· Someone who is money-motivated and ambitious.
· Someone with an excellent work ethic and a desire to succeed.
· An individual who is tenacious, resilient, and has the ability to spend a large chunk of their day cold calling.
· A charismatic, impressionable individual that can build a rapport.
· A good blend of professional and outgoing personality that clients, candidates, and colleagues will warm to.
· They will want you to have thoroughly researched the role, the industry, their company, and have solid reasons as to why you want a career in recruitment.
Trainee Recruitment Consultant – The requirements:
· 2:1 degree is preferable.
· Sales, real estate, business development and account management is ideal.
· Recruitment experience is advantageous.
· Languages are highly desirable.
· High-level sport achievements highly sought after.
