Single Homeless Project has an opportunity for a Resettlement Worker to join our team based in Camden. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary starting at £32,034.46 rising incrementally to £35,081.51 per annum.

About the Resettlement Worker role:

\n

A safe place to stay can be the first step. The right support to move forward is what turns it into lasting change.

\n

Gray’s Inn Road is a 16-bed short-stay accommodation service supporting people with a recent history of rough sleeping to stabilise, rebuild confidence and move towards a home of their own. Working at the heart of Camden’s response to homelessness, the service aims to ensure that rough sleeping is rare, brief and non-recurrent, with most residents moving into suitable longer-term accommodation within three to six months.

As Resettlement Worker, you’ll take the lead on helping residents navigate that next step. You’ll build a clear picture of each person’s housing needs, strengths and aspirations, creating practical resettlement plans and identifying move-on options that are safe, realistic and sustainable. Working closely with Support Workers, you’ll help residents overcome barriers, prepare for independent living and feel confident about what comes next.

About you:

• You understand housing and resettlement pathways and know how to find safe, affordable and sustainable move-on options, including within the private rented sector.
\n
• You can build trust with people experiencing multiple disadvantage, recognising their strengths and motivating them to take meaningful steps towards independence.
\n
• You’re confident completing thorough assessments and turning them into clear, achievable resettlement plans shaped around each person.
\n
• You understand the practical side of sustaining a home, including housing management, benefits, budgeting, rent payments and tenancy responsibilities.
\n
• You’re a determined and collaborative relationship-builder who can work effectively with landlords, housing providers, mental health services, substance use services and other partners to keep progress moving.

• A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period
\n
• A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am – 4pm) in non-accommodation services
\n
• 25 days annual leave, increasing annually to the maximum 30 days (plus paid Bank Holidays),
