As a Searcys Kitchen Porter you will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen staff by ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen areas, as well as assisting with basic food preparation. *Contract : *Full Time & Part Time *Salary : 15.00 inclusive of Tronc* *Opening times : * 10 : 00 - 20 : 00 Open 7 days a week *Start date : 16th September * *Key Responsibilities : * * Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sinks, countertops, and floors. * Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment. * Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and ensure food safety standards are followed. * Assist with waste management and recycling. * Support chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables and cutting ingredients. * Organise and store kitchen supplies, ensuring they are readily available for use. * Help with unloading deliveries and storing items appropriately. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. * Ability to work as part of a team. * Good communication skills. *Additional Information* We are the oldest caterer in the UK, having been founded in 1847, working with us will give you an opportunity to be part of some of London's most prestigious events, gaining insights and mentoring from skilled and experienced colleagues, as well as getting a chance to be part of a storied legacy in the hospitality industry.
