Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a number of Warehouse Operatives to join our busy team.

\n

We are looking for Operatives who are keen to grow their experience and train up as Cargo X-Ray Screeners for a large global freight forwarder based at Stansted Airport.

\n The job role will involve general warehouse duties and screening parcels ready for export. We will provide training, but we are ideally looking for candidate(s) with previous experience working within a warehouse environment or with previous experience in x-ray screening. i.e. passenger/ hold baggage/ cargo.

\n

This is an ongoing part time role and would suit individuals who are looking to increase their income or looking for part time hours each evening.

\n

HOURS: Monday-Friday (Part-Time)

Monday 19:00-23:00
Tuesday 19:00-23:00
Wednesday 19:00-23:00
Thursday 19:00-23:00
Friday 19:15-23:15

Duties and responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:

\n

\n
• Working in a fast-paced Warehouse Environment
\n
• Loading and unloading parcels onto X-ray machine, conveyor belts and vehicles
\n
• Using a hand-held scanner, parcels will need to be scanned as they travel through the facility
\n
• Adhering to all Health and Safety instructions in the warehouse
\n
• X-Ray Screening Cargo, looking out for any explosive threats
\n
• Keeping up to date with screening training
\n

\n

This position will involve repetitive manual lifting it is essential that you have a good level of fitness.

\n

The successful Candidates will be required:

\n

\n
• To possess safety Boots / Steel Toe capped boots
\n
• A Valid DBS (dated in the last 26 weeks)
\n
• A full 5-year background check, Cargo Operative Training - CO and DNXCT Screening course ( These will be facilitated by Right Now Group)
\n
• Must have strong written and verbal communication in English
\n

\n

Please note - This is not an immediate start as we will have to complete your 5-year referencing.

\n The cost of your DBS check and CO training will be payable in advance.

\n

Limited Company contractors\n

If you are a Limited Company contractor, you can 'opt out' of the regulations. Whilst the regulations have been conceived to ensure greater legislative protection for candidates, there may be issues which conflict with the spirit of the IR35 rules.

Opting out of the regulations will have benefits if you decide that you want to be considered self-employed. This will mean you will not be afforded the same protection as that of our PAYE workers but does bring you a step closer to being seen as genuinely self-employed and therefore could be viewed as outside the scope of the IR35 tax rules. If you wish to opt-out, you need to do so before your contract starts. To do this, please inform your consultant and sign and return the EAA opt-out form. Please note if we do not receive your signed form then your opt-out will be invalid.
