This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young people, thrives in a busy school environment and wants to play a key role in helping students succeed.
You'll work closely with teachers and support staff to provide targeted support, helping students build confidence, overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Your Role
- Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small group interventions.
- Assist teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons across the curriculum.
- Encourage student participation, independence and confidence in the classroom.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
- Provide additional support for students with varying learning needs.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff and parents where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within a UK mainstream secondary school.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people in education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, proactive and reliable approach to work.
- The ability to adapt to different classroom settings and student needs.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
