Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Full Time SEN School | North Leeds | September Start | Temp to Permanent Opportunity Ready to make a real difference every single day? Career Teachers is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in North Leeds for a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team this September for the full academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with a range of additional needs in a nurturing, inclusive, and highly rewarding educational environment. The role will initially be offered through Career Teachers, with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract directly with the school for the right candidate. The Role As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to help pupils achieve their full potential both academically and personally. You will play a key role in creating a positive learning environment where every child feels understood, valued, and empowered to succeed. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs Delivering tailored one-to-one and small-group support Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation Promoting student independence, confidence, and social developmen...
