Locations: West Ealing & Greenford, Ealing Trial Dates: Late June, July & Early September 2026 Start Date: ASAP / September 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:45pm Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) About the Role Axcis Education is partnering with two welcoming and well-established SEND schools in West Ealing and Greenford, Ealing, to recruit experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term positions. Successful candidates can start immediately or in September 2026, with trial days taking place in late June, throughout July, and early September. The Greenford school supports Primary, Secondary, and Post-16 students, while the West Ealing school caters to Primary and Secondary pupils. Both schools provide specialist education for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and moderate behavioural challenges. These roles are ideal for calm, patient, and proactive individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with additional needs. You'll work closely with teaching staff to promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and student engagement in a safe, inclusive learning environment. Both schools offer supportive leadership, established behaviour management systems, and ongoing professional development to help staff expand their SEND knowledge and classroom practice. Key Responsibilities Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate behavioural needs. Deliver one-to-one and small-group support across Primary, Secondary, and Post-16 settings. Encourage students to remain engaged, focused, and motivated during lessons. Implement positive behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies. Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, teachers, and support staff. Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams to support learning and wellbeing. Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment. Promote positive social interaction, communication, and independence. Support students both inside and outside the classroom as required. Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will have: Previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Strong experience working with students with: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Challenging behaviour A calm, patient, and empathetic approach. Confidence managing behaviour consistently using positive strategies. A proactive, engaging, and hands-on attitude. Excellent communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills. An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the DBS Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). Full-time availability to start ASAP or in September 2026. Why Join These Schools?
