The role:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will help drive our goals by:
• Carrying out mechanical maintenance, installation and repair of plant equipment and machinery
• Diagnosing faults and resolving issues tomaintainsafe and reliable operations
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and inspections across site
• Fabricating ormodifyingcomponents using engineering drawings or reverse engineering techniques
•Maintainingcritical systems including pumps, conveyors, valves,furnacesand piping
• Recording maintenance activities andidentifyingspare parts requirements using SAP
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
• Completed arecognisedmechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training
• Experience in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing,industrialor heavy engineering environments
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience using hand tools, powertoolsand workshop equipment
• Strong focus on health and safety withgood communicationand teamwork skills

Working Hours:
You will be required to work a 12-hour shift pattern, on day and nights, which includes weekends on a rotation of 5 days on followed by 4 days off in rotation.
