Corporate Solicitor

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be responsible for :

• Managing and assisting a varied caseload and providing high-quality legal advice to clients in collaboration with senior solicitors / lawyers.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Attend court hearings and client meetings.
• Assist with due diligence, structuring of transactions, and preparing legal documentation for mergers, acquisitions, financings, and restructurings.
• Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance.
• Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand your caseload and the firm’s corporate practice.
• Keep abreast of changes in corporate law and regulations and ensure that all processes adhere to current best practices and standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to corporate transactions and client interactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by your line manager or Director.
