Summary :
The role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization meets both statutory and non-statutory fire safety obligations as per the latest legislation and building regulations. The position involves strategic and operational management of fire safety across a high-volume residential portfolio, particularly in social housing. The successful candidate will foster strong relationships with consultants, service providers, internal staff, external agencies like the London Fire Brigade, and residents. They will also provide expert advice and make informed decisions regarding fire risk assessments, ensuring quality and compliance.

Requirements
Solid understanding of fire safety legislation, including RRO 2005. Proven experience in overseeing fire safety in social housing or similar high-volume residential settings. Proficiency in using RiskFlag software for digital safety case management. Experience in procuring, commissioning, and reviewing fire risk assessments (FRA Type 1). Ability to make informed decisions and recommendations regarding the quality of incoming FRAs. Strong relationship-building skills with various stakeholders, including the London Fire Brigade.
