DevOps Engineer

Overview

DevOps Engineer — 6 Month contract initially. Based : Hybrid / Gloucester or Warrington. Mostly remote. Rate : £375 - £400 p / d (via Umbrella company).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage source code repositories and version control using Git and GitHub.
• Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines leveraging tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodeBuild.
• Build and manage AMIs and automate infrastructure deployments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve automation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Apply best practices for cloud security, networking, and infrastructure management.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash to improve operational efficiency.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are welcome to apply. Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
