Junior Sous Chef

Fantastic opportunity for talented and creative individuals to join our expanding Kitchen Team at Ye Olde Fleece Inn , in Kendal. We are looking for a passionate Sous Chef , or a Junior Sous Chef that is felling ready to progress further.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations.
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu and recipes
• Oversee and coordinate food preparation and cooking activities
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
