Practice Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated Practice Accountant to join our reputable client in Buckinghamshire on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accurate preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and FRS 105 standards, and overseeing the timely submission of corporation and personal tax returns. You will work closely with clients, providing advice on cloud-based accounting solutions such as Xero and QuickBooks Online, and lead a team of accounting professionals to deliver high-quality service. Your role will involve managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the growth and development of the practice.

• Qualified ACA / ACCA with 2 to 5 years post-qualification experience or qualified by experience
• Extensive experience in preparing statutory accounts following FRS 102 and FRS 105
• Proven background in managing portfolios of accounts and statutory compliance
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax and ability to oversee corporation tax return processes
• Experience working with cloud accounting platforms, particularly Xero and QuickBooks Online
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage staff and client relationships effectively
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards
