Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

An outstanding SEND school based in Nottingham City have an opportunity arising for a

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teaching Assistant.

SEND experience is required. This is a full time role starting as soon as possible.

The ideal SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant should have the following :

Level 2 or 3 qualified and / or a minimum of 6 months' experience

in an educational establishment

A calm, patient and caring personal

Good communication skills

A good understanding of

child protection

and safeguarding guidelines

Experience in working with

supporting students

in their education on

a 1 : 1 and a small group basis

Successful applicants will be required to

complete an enhanced Child and Adult DBS disclosure

and

provide at least 2 references.
