Salary

£66,000+ per annum, plus shift premium of £17,000

Working Hours

Two seasonal shift options available (September to May, plus refresher training in August) :

Shift Option 1

Monday to Thursday 07 : 00-18 : 15, Friday 07 : 00-14 : 30

Shift Option 2

07 : 00-18 : 15, variable pattern with 3-4 additional days per month at your discretion

Both options include annual leave allowance and a year-end shutdown period.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced B1 Engineer to join a dedicated base maintenance team, responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across a range of commercial aircraft. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will supervise technicians and mechanics, manage resources effectively, and ensure full compliance with Part 145 regulations, company procedures and customer SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise teams during base maintenance checks
• Mentor and delegate to junior staff to ensure smooth operations
• Complete and review all documentation in line with MOE and published procedures
• Report maintenance requirements and issues to planners and management in a timely manner
